Frequently Asked Questions

Dino Safari is a drive thru experience for the whole family that invites you to grab a prehistoric passport and join over 40 giant moving dinosaurs on a globetrotting expedition. Get up-close-and-personal with the most fascinating prehistoric creatures from the mighty T. rex of North America to the giant amphibious Spinosaurus from Africa while you learn how dinosaurs evolved over time, where on earth they lived, and the discoveries paleontologists have made about how they ate, moved, and behaved. Beware: along the journey, earthquakes might erupt, dinosaurs could battle, and your family might just have to help save a baby dinosaur’s life! So, buckle up for the adventure of a lifetime in this completely COVID-safe experience!

On average, it takes each car around 40 – 60 minutes to drive through the entire experience. Guests should arrive no earlier than their designated entry time.

Tickets and pricing varies by location. Ticket prices include entrance to the drive-thru park, a “Park Passport” scavenger hunt, and other fun surprises! Note that there are size restrictions on large capacity vehicles: Dino Safari cannot accommodate any vehicles that exceed a length of 20ft, a width of 6ft, or a height of 9ft. This includes buses, RVs, limousines, or commercial vehicles.

Dino Safari is not the same experience as any other drive through dinosaur show. Developed by a leading producer of museum exhibitions, Dino Safari is the most educationally-rich, interactive, and immersive drive-thru dino experience on the market. Unlike at other drive-thru dinosaur shows, Dino Safari’s fun and family-friendly audio guide actively engages families in a story-driven adventure that seamlessly integrates exciting thrills with real science (developed by a real paleontologist!) in a fully immersive way. Plus, every visitor to Dino Safari gets a Survival Pack that includes a scavenger hunt, coloring activity, and other fun surprises!

Yes! The Dino Safari team worked with Dr. Gregory M. Erickson, a world-renowned paleontologist, to develop all of the scientific information. Dr. Erickson is one of only 150 full-time professional dinosaur paleontologists in the world and has been personally responsible for a number of notable paleontological discoveries. He served as the Senior Scientific Advisor on the show to ensure the utmost accuracy of the information included.
